A Family Preschool
Creative Learning Preschool is built on the passion to deliver the experience we struggled to find for our daughters and the understanding that children's happiness and growth outshines all else. We pride ourselves on being Stapleton's most family friendly preschool environment and we back that up with open communication, a safe environment, and a fun and progressive curriculum to teach your children.
We believe children learn best in an environment rich in experiences that focus on language development, academic centers, social/emotional development, fine/gross motor development, & artistic expression. Each session of preschool has a balanced schedule designed to address all developmental domains important to your child’s growth and development. We believe, as Early Childhood Educators, utilizing large and small group activities as well as addressing teachable moments allows for the maximum learning in our classrooms.
With that in mind our Preschool is dedicated to providing an environment conducive to the happy and healthy interaction, growth, and development of your child.
Our Leadership Team
At CLP, our staff is dedicated to delivering the best experience possible for your child and family. We’re very proud of the incredible team of educators we have to accomplish this goal every day.

Christina - Stapleton Director
It's fun to have a home at Creative Learning Preschool where I can live out my childhood dreams of being a teacher. I moved to Colorado in 2000 for the scenery, graduated college in 2006, married my husband Dave in 2011 and have been enjoying all this wonderful state has to offer! With Dave and my step-son Austin we like to enjoy all the mountains have to offer especially camping, backpacking, hiking, biking, and snowboarding! Though we're a busy family, we like to take time to enjoy the benefits of living in the great city of Denver, Colorado.
Jannelle - Highlands Director
I have been in the ECE field since 2004, right after high school. I have worked in a variety of settings over the years, influenced by Montessori, Reggio Emilio, with experience in High Scope and Creative Curriculum. I have my Director’s certification and currently working on my AAS in ECE. I enjoy learning new things, as this field requires us to constantly adding "tools to our tool box." I find I learn the most from the children as they share with me their uniqueness. My husband & I are originally from Southern California, relocating in the fall of 2004. We have two boys of our own and enjoy all the seasons Colorado has to offer!
In addition to our unique curriculum, CLP utilizes the Creative Curriculum™ as a foundation for all classrooms. The structure of our day, room arrangement, centers & lesson planning all stem from this learning philosophy.
At the core, Creative Curriculum™ for Preschool is based on 38 objectives for development and learning, which are fully aligned with the early learning standards for CO. It presents knowledge-building volumes and daily practice resources in tandem, giving every educator the “what,” “why” and “how” of early childhood education. It offers daily opportunities to individualize instruction, helping teachers meet the needs of every type of learner. It addresses all the important areas of learning, from social-emotional and math to technology and the arts, and incorporates them throughout every part of every day.
Creative Curriculum offers daily, built-in opportunities for observation, helping teachers and administrators clearly see the strong relationship between curriculum and assessment. It contains guidance for working with all learners, including advanced learners and children with disabilities.
